Big Weekend Events

Every year we look forward to the summer and some big weekend ‘away’ events - like the Corvette Nationals, the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Wasaga Beach Corvette Cruize Weekend, or some vintage racing at Watkins Glen. There are also trips to the National Corvette Museum and the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green.

The Corvette Nationals is a day-long drag racing meet at Grand Bend Motorplex.
The club will be making this a weekend event this year. C.C.O. organizes and runs the event with
the assistance of sponsors like Grand Sport Motors, Bramalea Tire and Sunoco Ultra 94.
This is a "dial in" event where anyone can win.  All you need is good reaction time and consistency to prevail!

The big one - Wasaga Beach and the Beach Cruize!  Put on by our friends in the Wasaga Beach Corvette Club, this event combines the best weather, the best beach, the most Vettes and the biggest party into a huge "not to be missed" destination.  One of the highlights every year is the Saturday cruise with hundreds of people along the side of the road, cheering and waving our beautiful cars on.

There are also weekend plans for club members to attend Woodward Avenue's Dream Cruise, Corvettes of Carlisle (the place to see thousands of vettes at one time and pick up every part imaginable for your car), and some Vintage Racing at Watkins Glen to see one of our own members racing.
